Our History

What is known as Toowoomba Community Baptist Church today is very different to that of its humble beginnings. What began as gatherings of 27 people at a small hall in Ruthven Street in 1875, has now grown to weekly gatherings of over 200. It is the heart of those gathering each week that has not changed.

There have been wonderful highs and typical lows since the inception of Toowoomba Community Baptist Church. One thing is true and remains and that is that God is at work. It is His plan.
